We will once again be having a stall at the Duck Race on Saturday 27th September. Hopefully you have collected a few jars through the summer and are now thinking of things to fill them with!
For those who have not done Mystery Jars before it is a simple idea of an empty jar washed and filled with anything (sweets, toys, sprouts etc) it really can be anything! (except frogs) and then wrapped in paper or fabric to hide the contents so it becomes a mystery!!
We had a great response last year and it would be fantastic if every swimmer could donate at least one jar – last year we sold out in an hour and a half so lets see if we can make the stall even more successful this year! Jars can be brought to the pool from this weekend and either left at reception or handed to Eleanor or another committee member if she is not around.
Closer to the date a rota will be on the noticeboard requesting help to run the stall on the day. Last year the swimmers (and some parents) had a great time on the stall and I hope there are just as many willing to spare half an hour to help this year! Look out for the rota in a couple of weeks.
